Looks like long-term care got shot down by a mostly Republican crew. I don’t know which side of the net you fall on this health care debate, but something has got to give and I do not think it is the care of our old folks that should be sacrificed. Here is an interesting thought. Why have we not heard any shots fired at the “Big Pharma.” I had a real insider tell me it is because of the money that big Pharma is paying the politicians. Something on the order of 300 Million dollars for the politicians’ re-election coffers. I, Percy The Plastic Flamingo, will report more on this as I am having another meeting with the insider later today.

Thanksgiving Day Was a Blast!

We traveled to a town in the middle of California and had a great dinner with family. A lot of driving and a whole lot of football and food. I only wish that not another Thanksgiving goes by that the men and women serving in the United States Armed Forces are separated from the folks that are near and dear to them.
