You’ve Been Flocked & Now The Whole World Knows

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010

Imagine your 50th or 60th birthday morning. You already have enough aches and pains that you probably do not feel like celebrating.  You turn on the coffee maker and head out to get the newspaper off the driveway.  As soon as you open the front door you get the sense something is up but its early and you do not quite have your multiples together yet.  As soon as your left foot  steps off the proch it hits you,  A sea of pink.  Someone has placed 50  pink flamingos accross your front lawn.  A neighbor honks as they drive by and you smile numbly and thats when you see the sign, “You’ve Been Flocked “  and now the whole world knows it.

Plastic Flamingos Give Away

Thursday, July 8th, 2010

We would like to tell everyone to stop by the Lady Luck Casino in Colorado.

We spoke to a great client there named Terri and she was having wonderful success with a Pink Flamingo Give-Away.  Clientele would be awarded a pink lawn flamingo after accumulating sufficient points.  If anyone would like more info, email or call us.

We also received a reorder form Beth Ann in Fountain Valley, Ca.  She is doing multiple fundraisers and is also doing very well.  Beth Ann’s cause is breast cancer and we sincerely hope she reaches her goal.

If anyone has “used” Pink Flamingos and wants to donate them to a great cause, please let us know.  We will find a church, a youth group or someone like Beth Ann to make sure the pink flamingos are put to good use. Hopefully you will receive a tax write-off and we know the plastic flamingos will be put to good use.   You can contact me by email or call me at 760-333-5104.

If you have a success story to share, or an upcoming fundraiser to post, this is a good spot because we get a lot of traffic and any advertising is good advertising.1 pair blog

Where Have all The Cheap Flamingos Gone

Sunday, July 4th, 2010

americanpinkflamingo50pair320If you are having a fundraiser or flocking someone for a celebratory reason you may have noticed that the plastic flamingo supply has dwindled severely especially the low cost pink flamingos. Well here is the  reason, the supplier of the American Flamingos has pulled a boner.  For unknown reasons, probably financial they have either pulled their birds or the actual manufacturer, the person molding the pink flamingos  will not send anymore. It is a problem because these were the lowest cost quality pink flamingos on the market and many organizations have little money in order to purchase flocks and people that decide to flock someone as a gag has a budget also. There is a solution and that is reduction in flamingos per flock.  Instead of 50 birds try 12 pairs or 24 birds. Instead of American purchase the Featherstone Replicas which by the way are far superior in every aspect except cost. The Don Featherstone Replicas are exact copies of the originals, they are taller and of course made in America. I would surmise that you would make more money with Featherstone Flamingos due to their looks anyways.  Most of the clients that shop with us have elected to spend the same amount as before but now use the Featherstones in fewer numbers with the same financial results. Cheap flamingos be damned the Flamingo flocking must go on.

Flamingo Flocking Ideas

Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010

David Clark of Christian Life is having excellent results with his flocking fundraiser.  He has made a video on You Tube to promote the event and here is the link (copy and paste to your browser)  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46BXTV4MkKM  if you are thinking about having a fundraiser watch the video. It is the first of at least two but shows how building buzz around your fundraiser can have excellent returns.  David was extremely well prepared and fortunate enough to require more flocks.  David has a unique approach and hopefully he will be able to help others learn successful ideas on how to stage their own Flamingo Flocking fundraisers.   We wish him well and if you would like to contact him maybe he will share his approach with you.

Plastic Flamingos – Compare and Save

Sunday, April 4th, 2010

You are here because you are intelligent and really superior to all those other pink flamingo shoppers out there.

23.95 for a pair of Don Featherstone Replicas including shipping.  Buy it here because I sincerely doubt you can find a better deal on any site for any pair of flamingos.

Now if you are looking to buy birds of color ( team colors that is ) that is a different flamingo (animal) altogether, so I suggest you take a moment and go to our other site, www.PatioandGardenDecor.com and there you will find the category “colored flamingos.“

We also list product and shipping seperately  at www.patioandgardendecor.com

Deals such as

36 Featherstone replicas (18 pair) for $119.95 plus shipping.  No way can you top that for replicas of Featherstone. Will not happen.

OR

50 American Flamingos (25 pair) for $109.95 plus shipping.  Slightly smaller and a different look than the Featherstones, but still made in America unlike those Communist China look-a-likes that fade in a month.  (See E-Bay for samples of soon-to-fade flamingos). The bulk sales are factory direct, UV-filled,  quality plastic flamingos.  Did I mention my phone number in case you have a question or a problem it is listed on the home page in several spots. One other thing the American Flamingos 24 & 50 packs will be shipped may 12-2010 because we have sold so many at these low prices we  completely underestimated the demand (shame on us)  and now we must wait for our truckload to restock our empty shelves. If you place the order and get cold webbed feet we will gladly refund your money if we have not already shipped your birds. If you think your going to need the flamingos than order early because we will be shipping on first come basis.  Got to be fair.

Thank you,

www.ThePinkFlamingoSite.com & www.patioandgardendecor.com

Buy Pink Flamingos for Flamingo Flocking

Friday, April 2nd, 2010

If you are buying Plastic Lawn Flamingos on the internet chances are pretty good  you are going to end up with one of these two Pink Flamingos shown below.  If you spend less than $160 including shipping for 50 birds, you will get the American Flamingos shown on the left side.   The other side is the replica Featherstone flamingos ( $190 or less  for 36 due to size and quality) but unless you turn them upside down you would never know the difference between the replicas and  the original Don Featherstone Flamingosflamingo-compare600

American Flamingo Pair on left and Replica Featherstone Pair on right. Check out the beaks and the necks for major differences.

We sell both the  Featherstone replicas and the  American Flamingos at this site and our other site www.PatioandGardenDecor.com.  I guarantee we will beat any price .  I am so confident, my phone number is on the site, so call me if you find them cheaper.  Really! I will answer the phone and cut you a deal if you are buying more than 100 birds.

Thanks,

Travis

Monday, January 11th, 2010

Here is a hobby of mine and since I am the only one that knows how to  make them I thought I would ask for feedback.  I realize not everyone has the landscape to support this type of art but “what do you think”?

Do you think the are:

 A. Cool

B. Okay

C. Hey these suck!
